Antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) are a family of autoantibodies that joined to negatively charged phospholipids, protein-binding phospholipids or both (1). The antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is characterized by an increased risk of vascular thrombosis involving venous, arterial and placental circulation. To meet APS diagnosis, clinical and laboratory Sydney criteria have to be fulfilled (2).
